Adventures in Cooking

So yesterday we tried twice to make bread for stuffing. Both times the bread machine gave birth to loaves of bread that were only good for bricks or doorstops. Third times the charm right? Well it only sort of worked. We did a 1.5 pound loaf in the bread maker and it rose, but not as much as it should have. To see what could be the problem I made some bread by hand and it rose perfectly I have enough for cheesy bread now in addition to the extra loaf I did for the stuffing.
